Meet Alexis…
Alexis holds a Masters degree in psychology, with a focus on clinical psychology and intimate relationship research. She is a certified eating disorder coach at the Carolyn Costin Institute and is a member of IAEDP. Her varied experience working as a family-based therapist, pet-assisted therapist, and in residential treatment settings, combined with her passion for learning and research, enables her to guide clients through the change process with empirically supported knowledge and strategies.
Alexis collaboratively works with clients and treatment teams to empower individuals in making changes. She specializes in working with neurodivergent, adolescent, and early adulthood populations. During the change process she helps clients clarify goals, gain insight, and offers the support the client wishes in achieving their goals. She is flexible in her approach offering support in a variety of settings and contexts including (but not limited to): office, virtual, home, restaurant, shopping, exercise excursions, group coaching, and more.
In addition to her role as a coach, Alexis works as a professor at West Chester University, where she is active in advising and teaching the next generation of psychology professionals. In her free time Alexis enjoys worshipping God, spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, hiking, running, swimming, and traveling.
